Possible issue with the truck...

Last night Eric and I had a little fun on the freeway, him in his Dodge.
I noticed a loss of power on the top end so I laid off the throttle. But everything seemed fine on the way home.
This morning on the way to work, the heater didn't kick in until halfway to work. And in traffic, my temp was fluctuating a lot. It never saw red, but close. By the time I got to work, it was sitting at 208-210 like normal.
Thermostat is the first thing I'm gonna replace, but the power loss last night makes me curious....head gasket? The deals on the new trucks right now look very tempting.

Stop by after work and we can test the coolant system for a blown head gasket.
