what would it cost to have a stock 302 freshened up to a 306? im on limited budget so cheaper is better =D

It generally ends up coming out to 800-1000. Bore, torque plate hone,decking, balancing, polish crank,re-size rods, line hone, etc. If some of that stuff is skipped/isn't needed, it can be cheaper obviously. But depends on what shape the engine you have is in now. We have had some of the early stuff leave as cheap as 1200 for a short block.
