Good Afternoon,
This is Jason H. Thanks for all the help yesterday. The handling feels a lot better now and the car seems a lot less lathargic now that the timing is correct and the carb is completely hooked up. It was driving perfectly and i was all the way back on base going about 25-30mph when i hit a bump in the road and the engine cut out. The interior and exterior lights all remained on. The engine cut out for only 4-5 seconds. I started to pull over but it already cut back on. Then it didn't do it again. Any ideas?
Thanks.

This was the same thing it was doing when you were driving it here also ?
Try hot wiring the car the next time you are driving it. This will bypass the rest of the ignition system to try to eliminate any variables. Run a lead from the pos side of th battery to the pos side of the coil.
You can check other things like loose connections at the soleniod.

I guess its the same problem. Except last time i had to restart the engine as opposed to this time when it automatically turned back on. What gauge wire should i use?
I might have some speaker wire lying around...Just kidding

10-14 guage wire will work. just make sure that the wire doesn't get caught in the fan.
