Hey guys!
My name is Kris and you guys actually put the gears in my 06 Boss quite a while back.  I was getting ready to redeploy back to Iraq so I ended up selling the Boss and I bought a 68 Coupe a week before I left.  So needless to say I am jonesing to get back and start working on it.  I have already ordered a new intake, carb, headers, and a bunch of suspension stuff.  What I havent been able to figure out is a good place to get my exhaust done.  I think I am going to go with the Flowmaster 50's dualed out the back.  I went with some headman midlength headers and I was wondering if you guys do custom exhaust too?  I know you are kinda the jack of all trades out there.
Also I am coming up with some plans for paint.  I of course dont want to break the bank with it so I was actually thinking about getting it into primer for now and waiting till I deploy again to have it painted while I am gone.  I would love to drive around Mad Max style for a while.  What kind of money do you all think for getting it into primer.  It is pretty solid so not too much body work will need to be done.  I should be home mid Aug (hopefully) and would like to make it to your shop soon after I get home.  I will probably put the headers on and then drive out there open header (OUCH!) and have you do the exhaust if you will do it.  Thanks in advance and I cant wait to get home to start playing with the new car.

Semper Fi,
Kris

Kris,its been a while!

Sucks you had to sell the BOSS but you'll have much more fun with the classic Grin

We can take it down to metal and then epoxy primer it, only bad thing is that the primer doesn't have UV protection so it won't last long. We can take care of exhaust for you no sweat, just let us know when you get close to bringing it in so were ready for you.

What type of suspension you going to do, stock or after market?

take care

Hey guys!
Yeah it has been a while.  I really think that the demise of the BOSS started happening when I was at you guys shop.  It was then that my drive to find a 67/68 coupe began again.  The one I found I picked up out in your neck of the woods for $2500 and it is really in pretty good shape.  The interior was shot so I have gutted it all out.  My suspension I am going with is mostly from Opentracker.  I got the rollerized spring perches, new uppers, lowers, springs, rear leafs, etc.  Going for that low and mean look.  Will be doing the shelby drop with the lowering springs.  Hopefully I can get it in the weeds!  I already got the chrome 17" delivered and my wife actually put them on for me.  She is such a champ!  I will probably need a weekend or so to get the stuff installed before I head out your way.  Looks like you guys are doing pretty well out in the new shop.
What kind of dollars are we looking at to get it painted?  I think I have my paint scheme layed out but I am just not sure.  That is why I am thinking of getting it to a point that she looks good and I can drive her until it is time to get final paint on it.  Heck, if I really figure out my paint scheme maybe you guys can blast it for me.  Let me know what kind of price that would run me.  I am thinking black from the body line up to the top and dark grey (little darker then Rich's car) from the body line down.  Should look nice with the chromies.  Anyway I will wrap this up so I can go and get some work done.
Great to hear from you guys and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

How she looks now:

What I am thinking about...

P.S. I could really go for one of those huge burritos that we had that day when you were putting the gears in the car....damn I miss good food!
