Hey guys,
In the spirit of getting you to do my exhaust when I get home I wanted to get the headers I have powdercoated.  I have a new set of Hedman 88400 shorty headers sitting in the garage.  They are just the painted ones so I wanted to get them stripped and coated prior to installation.  Do you guys have a good source for this?  I almost assume that you do it since you guys do just about everything.  I want to start figuring these things into the equation because I want the car sounding mean as soon as I get home.  Thanks in advance guys!

depending on what you want to do with the car... those headers are not the greatest. they are 1 1/2 primaries and shorties with only a  1/4" flange and 18 gauge. I would hate for you to spend the money to coat a pair of headers that won't last as long as the coating.

let me look for some headers for you and see what I can come up with. I know you want shorties since your car will be in the weeds Grin Buying headers coated will be cheaper in the long run rather than coating those headers.

talk to ya soon

take a look at these... 1 5/8", 5/16" flange already coated, 16 gauge. And they're mid-length which ill still be good for a lower car.

The best thing about these is if you ever want to make more power with your set up you can still use these headers unlike the other which are only good for stock due to the primary size. Wink

Damn!  I already bought the Headmans!  I did get a quote to powder coat them for $50 (half off for being in the Marine Corps).  Will they still work well for the time being.  I am not really looking at upgrading the engine right away.  It will probably have to wait until after my next deployment to do the engine stuff.
