I bought a 1966 Fastback during September 2006.  A year later I suddenly had white smoke and rough idle.  I took the car to CPR Street Machines for a diagnosis after meeting Dustin and Rich at a local cruise night.  Well, everything was looking broken or worn.  Dustin and Rich photographed each issue and gently gave me the bad news.

I then decided on a crate motor from a builder in Glendale, CA.  Dustin and Rich walked me through the available options and how to accessories a long block.  I bought my carburetor, distributor, water pump, timing cover, clutch, third member, etc. through their shop after they taught me how things worked.  I even tested their knowledge against my own research and I was always pleasantly surprised that Dustin and Rich gave me the correct information.

After my engine install the crate motor had leaks from the head bolts and a plug fouled with oil.  During the crate motor issues Dustin and Rich were patient with me and informative.  Dustin and Rich helped me by contacting the builder and explaining what was wrong with the long block.  The engine was repaired under the warranty and things are working again—knock on wood.

Dustin and Rich are friendly, helpful, and true car guys.

Thanks for your help and your support.
