Hi, I have a 66 mustang convertable that i got while it was being restored. (looking forward to finishing it myself). The guy I bought it from did a few things that I wasn't thrilled about including shaving the door handles, and there were no backup lights. I'm looking for a template or something to be able to put in the door and the rear valence in order to install the handles and backup lights in their proper position. Do you have anything like that, or would I need to find another 66 convertable and take measurments? Also, I'm looking at buying the door handle assemblies and I need the rod set for the drivers side. Would you be able to give me a price quote on that as well?
Also, I'm looking for the rubber used in the door and vent window channels and the felt(?) thats goes in the door window tracks. Do you have those and how much as well.
thanks a lot.

sorry for the delay. As far as templets go. 65-66 coupe and verts have the same placement so it wouldn't be that difficult to find what you need to get started. As far as cutting the door that has already been painted... it will be very tough without chipping the paint. Give me a call so we can talk about it and i'll get you the prices on the parts too.
thanks,
CPR
