Picked this up last night. Lots of ideas of what do do with it are stirring right now. No matter the direction, there's obviously some work to do.

I say make it a nice restomod. make subtle exterior changes and then have the powertrain and drivetrain modernized. Basically the best of both worlds. Try to keep it carburated though. Turbo the hell out of it. Make it handle well, not just in a straight line. Either way, i'm sure you guys will make it bad ass.

We had some time this weekend and decided to start the boring part of getting it down.

Then we got bored during the day.

Then about 4hrs later

We tested the cowl and it was good. But with the rest of the car in the shape it was, we figured it wasn't far out. Even then ended up not too bad. But we wanted to put new metal in because it was rusted, even though not directly in the normal spots.
The underside is getting a light blast and then the grill will be shaved. It does kinda defeat the purpose to cover the cowl after it's been replaced. But we figure it'll add value, and we want it done right with now problems later.
