I was supposed to have an 09 come in yesterday. Was going to give him a smoking deal to borrow his car for a while to make a kit and jigs but he got cold feet. Going to marry is gal and what not. Really had my heart set on making a kit for it. Sooooo, I found this one fully loaded for a good price.I think it literally has everything, and a weight problem. Fast enough for most, but not for people like the people on this board. And certainly not me. Bored of it after second gear. And that's where the turbo just gets good. Not sure if compound boost is in the starts or not. Don't think so right now. Want a real cooler for it, one that's not in the engine, and that can really breathe. I think I can improve drastically on anything out there right now. We shall see. Hope to see 800rwhp reliably with no other changes but fuel upgrades, maybe clutch. What do you guys think ?

I got 5 cars to dyno tune in the next 2 days, and since I rent by the day. Mine went on as well.  Cheesy
Makes 9psi, took it up to the factory limiter and she looked ready to keep going. Back to back these are the numbers. Not bad for stock. Too bad she's so heavy.

Nice! looking forward for more pics!
Getting there man ! Got the turbos in, so time to rack it and look around. May take it to mustangs Vs the world here locally before I tear it down to see what kind of times it shows. But I have enough to start now.

I'd remember the car more than likely lol. that's how we talk around here if we don't remember names. "remember, the car with the blah blah blah paint, and we put in the such ans such ?"
" Ohhhhh yeahhhh" haha

Yeah the drive can certainly suck. But I like to think it's worth it.  Wink

Hahah Id say so 2, I cant seem to find a shop around here in LA that does what you do & specializes in mustangs so it looks like I'm gonna have to go down there! I'll pm you soon with what exactly I want to do to the car so that you can quote me and give me recommendations.

Getting somewhere. Here's a little of what the headers will look like. Imagine them BLACK. No polished ceramic will be available. Doesn't hold up that great. And the balls used to polish the coating tend to get stuck in the collector. Luck would have it they will fall out when the turbo is at 70k rpm. It would be easy if these were custom. I wouldn't need spaces between bends (read: MUCH easier to build). Looks like the tubing should be all one piece except one primary. Not bad considering, I think. Driver side is a breeze to install. The passenger takes a little more finesse. THANK GOD the plugs are in the top of the head.
More I do this, the more I think my '67 is going to sit lol

Somethings should be trickling in here pretty soon. Got the first batch of throttle body plates. Machined to accept the factory O-ring, and the thickness is right, so it will use factory throttle body bolts, too.

Just had a few more parts show up. Same thing here. Billet part made to take factory o-rings. Pull your old one off, take off the o-rings and throw the part back on. The original one was 90 deg, and would run into some problems. This should make it 10 times easier to move the reservoir. Just mount it, run a new hose to it. Told ya I would make it easy on you guys.  Wink

Alright. So this is the intake mocked up. Going to take it off to make the jig for it. I think is mean as hell to have an intake like this on a normal street car, especially in an off the shelf kit. So I did tell a white lie. This is the real location of the turbos. I'm far enough along now I think I can show my hand. That is the alternator up high and backwards. Billet mount being made for that as well, along with a custom pulley from Metco. Best part of the whole kit is parts of the kit will have patented parts in it so the Chinese can not copy it. Or if they do I will have a legal leg to stand on.

I ALLLLLMOST put the alt up higher. That would have made the turbos more parallel to the nose of the car. But with the alt up that high, I wouldn't have been able to run the forward throttle body. I think angled turbos was worth the intake like this. Think I made the right choice ? Cheesy

Computer is back up and running since the move, finally. This is the first try at the relocation plate for the ECU and fuse box. One small problem when saw on the drawing but decided to cut the plate and ways and see how to fix it once it was in the car. We tried to make them parallel like you see in the pic to the firewall and to each other for aesthetics, but not going to work. But this will bolt in right where your battery tray bolts in now.

I also decided to skip my other idea for the wiring harness, and figured out a better and nicer way. Everyone I talked to flaked on me about my plans and if I can't get a hold of them or a return phone call, than can cause problems with supply later down the road. Turns out, all but one small harness will reach this tray with nothing more than a re-route. 3 quick pins and the plastics fell out of the wheel well. So instead of the harness going forward to its old location, you will just have to feed it up to the tray. One harness is already there, so you only have to tuck away some excessive length. The only one that needs to be cut is the head light harness. There are 6 wires maybe ? And since none of it's resistance based like anything to do with the ECU, this won't be bad at all.

These are the feet for the swaybar relocation. Tubing hopefully tonight or tomorrow to work on it some more.

The BMR K-member should be here to tomorrow. Busy busy

Sounds good, lemme know. what was the HP level ? Steve is going to test them for me also when I gt the time to make him one. Test pressure drop for me and what not.

Got the k-member and threw it in today. Great fit, really nice piece, and made more room in the right area. Got the sway bar mount relocation started today also. Hope to get back to the fun part soon.
