Sooooo, the stock k-member ended up being better for this than the tubular. I had an area in mind of where I wanted to run the DP's, and thought the tubular would free it up. It did, just not enough to get by with enough room, to comfortably duplicate without the thing rattling. So I went back to my second choice for routing, which still ended up being better routed with the stocker. Maybe I'll make a k-member one day that fits this kit, who knows. Too bad, it was a nice piece.

This was my second choice because the perseption is that this looks low, and hard to get people to believe you lol. I ran flat bar across the bottom of the k-member [MANY TIMES), at they are LESS than 1.5 inches lower than the k-member. Deceptive as hell in the pics, but not low at all. It's about midnight here, so going home.

Tried a new waterjet company and got the drawings done with my changes a whole helluva lot quicker than I thought I would. Then I ran out of gas. So this mocked for some pics. The aluminum was a scrap piece I had, so normally they will a bit nicer. But this ones mine, and it's going to be anodized. Smiley
First CNC'd Alt bracket came out pretty good. Just need to shift the material over so it's even. It's a little close to the alt to run without blankets, but the kit will come with a pair of them, so no problem. Took the bracket to the same shop as the intake base for the Alt mount. That was holding me up with everything. Without it, couldn't get the TB angle or height. Keeping me from finishing the jig and starting the sheet metal. Finally moving forward again.

Oh, the hole in the jig was to bolt the blower down. There's a tab on the underside. I needed to do that when making the jig for the EGR mount. There will be an option to keep the egr if you want. I'm going to Sad

For those that haven't take off one of these manifolds yet, here's what the driver looks like. Better than the old cast iron of the 60's by design, but still a cast iron log.

The first pic shows the outlet. ID of the outlet is 2in. Now in the throat right behind it where all the exhaust merges, is even smaller than that.

These two pics show how the number 8 cyl comes out and hits on coming traffic backwards, and then heads down.

Then the goose neck to dodge the steering shaft. Here you can see the goose neck open up to 2in.

I don't want to stick on of my nice bore gauges down there to test. But by feel and site it's most definitely smaller than 2in.  That actually measure has to be damn close to what guys are running for primary tubing. Just one tube. There has to be a large advantage to having headers in power overall power and boost threshold.

With a slide of the hand and a little mis direction, you can barely even tell it moved. LOL Except the pimp CNC plate might give it away, HA. IDK, may just water jet this one. It's only 2D. So it can be water jet cheaper and serve the same purpose. Figured I'd throw another pic up for S&G's. I clipped the hoses thinking no way I could re-use them when taking it all apart. Plus those clamps can be a real mother. I'll order some more hoses and hopefully the stockers fit. Would be cool if it did, and this would be finalized. If not, I'll tweak a little see if I can get it to work with the stockers. Been meaning to order the hoses for a while. But messing with other things. The  one going to the other side of the intake won't. But will be able to re-use some of it.

Here's a few pics. You can see it OK down low. Not extremely obvious like a Fox body. But kinda like it like that. Maybe it will look more like a condenser at first glance. Can't see it in the top grill. Only if your on it looking down. Walk softly Smiley

This showed up. I figured if I planned to make one fit, I better order one. ( Sounds like the rest of us making excuses to order parts doesn't it ?) This was he best one I could find, glad it was a Moroso part. Thing is top notch. Only questionable part is how far out the on kick out goes as you can see in the pic. Hopefully I don't have to trim a perfectly good pan. But I will to avoid the stocker being the only choice. Cross our fingers hope I can make it fit

Tubing said they would have the stuff done and I should have it by Fri, so we'll see. Hopefully so, some flanges are in. Mock ups where 3/8 and round for ease. These are 1 7/8 oval and .500 Also added slots at the bottom to make it easier install the headers. Start two bolts just a smidge and you can hang the headers from that.

Here's the first one. The Cold rolled CNC flanges really paid off. The price is a bit shocking lol, but so damn sexy. You can see the scratches on the header face. Lightly across the whole thing. It literally took me 7 sec on the sander (I counted) to get this. Just sand enough to leave scratches to make sure she is straight. Now just a smidge or RTV, bolt them on and a leak free install with no gaskets to blow out.

Some piddly things to finish up here.

Add some cats and you should be 49 state legal. Cats and the EGR provision will be an option.

Good lord I'm about tired of making jigs. Look incredibly simple, but time consuming to make right. Over a dozen of them for this kit. DOH ! This is one of the lower hoses, with one tube if anyone decides to keep the oil cooler.

No cats until I tune and get my numbers. Made if pretty damn loud, at least in the shop. I didn't hit it too hard. I was doing it a little harder and seeing 9psi earlier. Seems to be running fine on what's probably kerosene by now lol. That 91 has been sitting since may last year.
