Converting from drums to disc

Rich, Dustin what up, ok so im finally converting my 65 front brakes, i noticed that when i press down on the brakes when the car is on it feels like the brake gets pulled down, is this normal? I also would like to know if i have to change out my brake pedal.

Holy cow didn't see this. It should be pulled down, but should be easier if you did power at the same time.
