hello i have a 65 mustang coupe that i have always wanted to turbo Cheesy. i came across your site and it is apparent that you know your stuff when it comes to mustangs and turbos. The 289 engine was rebuilt and runs great as does the rest of the car. i purchased a 9 inch rear end thats been sitting on the side of the house for a year  out of a 67 mustang with posi, the axle has to be shortened to fit i am sure you already know. i want to have disc brakes for front and rear (willwood) and i was looking at swapping the c-4 out for a 5 speed tremec performance trans (tko).i would love to just hand the car over to your guys and have all the work done at once but money is tight.  Eventually when i have the funds i would love to have you guys put a turbo on the car,i want to have the cars trans and rear end already upgraded so that whatever you guys decide is best as far as the the turbo and engine goes the car will handle the power. i know generally when working on a car you start from the engine then build the rest of the drivetrain. But i still want to enjoy and drive the car. my question is can the trans disc brakes and rear all be installed and the car still be drivin until i bring the car to your shop to have a turbo installed? maybe a better question is will everything work properly if i upgrade parts on the car backwards, meaning rear end to front end?

Well it's not really backwards. You have to have the car stop if your going to make good power. You "should" do it first. For fun I would personally run the C-4. Unless you absolutely have to shift to have fun. But I would keep it at least until you get the turbo. If you don't like it you can still always change. But I like the autos better with turbos. Let me know when your ready for the brakes, I can probably help with the part #'s and pricing on that
