Customer has a fresh rebuilt motor with a edelbrock intake and carb, T-5 transmission but did not have the rough idle from a cam that he has always wanted.

We went with a cam by Isky mega cams that we always have great results with, and we already know that we have the piston to valve clearance for.

parts needed:

Cam/ new lifters, new timing chain, oil, antifreeze
Gaskets: water pump, timing chain, intake manifold, valve cover, carb to intake, fuel pump.

we started to disassemble the engine Shocked

remove the front half of the engine along with removing the carb, intake, valve covers, rocker arms, pushrods, and old lifters, water pump,  and radiator.

next, is is the tough part... remove cam eccentric, the timing chain, and the cam.

we set the cam at zero and installed a new timing chain and everything else, set/ adjust the valves, dropped the distributer back in on tdc and started it back up.
